gran turismo (Playstation)
Smell the petrol and motor oil, vomit off to the side of the track, then compose yourself enough to get strapped into a nitro boosted Vauxhall Corsa. Once you've passed the tests and filed the paperwork, obviously.
resident evil 2 (playstation)
It's time to face up to all those zombie apocalypse claims you keep making. Let's face it, you wouldn't last the weekend, but you might do better if you had training in Raccoon City. Horror films and games combine in Resident Evil 2
tekken 3 (playstation)
A martial arts tournament, harsh grandparental discipline and a mini dinosaur with very dangerous farts are all on the menu in Tekken 3 on the Playstation. Was this the most complete and accomplished arcade port of the generation?
x-com: interceptor (pc)
It's the follow up to Apocalypse, but don't go expecting another gigantic and ambitious leap into uncharted strategy territory. This time you're in the cockpit of a space fighter, and there are no turns... I guess it's sort of X-Com...
half-life (pc)
More horror storytelling in games, but this time entirely within the playable action. Valve's different approach was obviously extremely influential, but is it better with a smooth Fun Lovin' Criminals soundtrack? Yes.
